Targeted at lawyers, in-house teams, compliance functions and executives.

Yes — interface language and analysis jurisdiction are chosen independently. You can have the entire interface in English while analyzing Norwegian contracts against verified Norwegian primary sources. Original statute names are preserved in citations (e.g. avtaleloven, not "the Norwegian Contracts Act"). The same applies to Swedish, Danish and EU law. This serves foreign counsel, in-house teams at multinational companies, and M&A advisors handling cross-border Nordic matters.

LexCodex cites verified primary sources across Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and EU law — statutes, preparatory works, case law and authoritative agency rulings. Second-pass verification cross-checks every citation against its source and transparently flags uncertain results.

Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and English are fully supported with jurisdiction-specific sources. Finnish, Icelandic and EU/EEA jurisdictions are under active development — launch planned during summer 2026.

Yes. LexCodex.ai is operated from Sweden under EU jurisdiction and GDPR-compliant. We provide a public DPA per Art. 28. Users can delete their account directly via /account (GDPR Art. 17 self-service). Contract texts and AI responses are never stored (Zero Data Retention).

Zero Data Retention means no contract texts, prompts or AI responses are stored on our servers after analysis. This applies also at our AI provider via enterprise agreement. Only account data (email, name, password hash) is stored to allow you to log in.

No. LexCodex does not use your material for AI training, and the AI provider (our AI provider) does not either via our enterprise agreement with Zero Data Retention.

LexCodex is security tested against OWASP Top 10 (internal Tier 1 review 2026-05-03 — Mozilla Observatory B+, 0 critical/high) and has undergone academic security review Q2 2026. The platform is built to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 controls.

We use certified third-party providers for AI analysis, hosting (EU), payments and spam protection. All are certified to industry standards (SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, PCI DSS Level 1) and bound by data processing agreements.

LexCodex is operated from a certified data centre in Sweden under EU jurisdiction. AI inference uses EU routing where available. All user data stays in Sweden (EU). Owned and operated by Nordicbysight, Sweden.

Email support@lexcodex.ai with a description of the issue, steps to reproduce, affected URL or endpoint and your contact details. We acknowledge the report within 2 business days and provide a remediation plan within 7 business days for confirmed issues.

LexCodex is classified as a limited-risk system per EU AI Act art. 6 (regulation (EU) 2024/1689). The platform meets Art. 50 transparency obligations: users are informed of AI interaction, AI-generated content is marked as such. See the AI Act tool.

Three protections:

1. Every legal claim is bound to a verified primary source.
2. The AI is instructed to prefer "I'm uncertain, please consult primary sources" over fabricating references.
3. Extended thinking allows the AI to reason in multiple steps before answering.

Pro users can review up to 10 contracts at once, Enterprise up to 50. Each document is analysed separately and you also get a consolidated report identifying common patterns, high-risk clauses and deviations from market standard. Results exportable as CSV.

Only with your written consent. On /feedback (Study 2 participants) there is an explicit choice "Yes, you may quote my responses" with the option to require approval of the quote before publication or anonymisation. Default is that nothing is quoted without consent.
